Osteoporosis: bones and calcium
KD Osteo®, natural remedy for osteoporosis with natural Vitamin D3, natural Vitamin K2, boron and horsetail.
The active ingredients contained prevent osteoporosis, act against bone loss and skeletal fragility. They contribute to the maintenance of normal bones, normal absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus, and normal levels of calcium in the blood.
Vitamin D also contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.
For men and women in pre/post and menopause and all subjects at risk, also suitable for adolescents.
1 capsule a day provides 2000 international units of Vitamin D3, 100% of the ministerial dosage.
Vitamin D and vitamin K contribute to the maintenance of normal bones. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus and to normal levels of calcium in the blood.
With Vitamin D3 or cholecalciferol of natural origin. Vitamin D3 is found in milk and fats of animal origin and can be synthesized in our skin through the radiation of sunlight, however, its synthesis or dietary intake is not always sufficient to cover its needs.
It is essential for proper skeletal development and for the mineralization of bones because it facilitates the absorption of calcium and phosphorus by the intestine and reduces the loss of calcium in the kidney. In fact, a deficiency can lead to rickets in the child and to bone demineralization and osteomalacia in adults and the elderly.
Vitamin D3 = 2000 IU
With Vitamin K2 or menaquinone extracted from Natto, a fermented Japanese food.
Known for its antihemorrhagic function and activation of clotting factors. Recent clinical studies have highlighted an important role of vitamin K in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and osteoporosis.
In fact, it increases the bone mineral density allowing to reduce the risk of fractures and also has a protective effect against calcification of the arterial walls. For this reason it promotes the correct mineralization of the bones.
Vitamin K2 = 100 mcg
Horsetail: natural remineralizing, facilitates the deposit of calcium in the bones. It is rich in mineral salts, in particular organo-soluble silica that is immediately available to be absorbed at the time of its intake.
Boron: has remineralizing function and facilitates the deposit of calcium for a good maintenance of bones and joints.
